HIPAA-aware workflows
Consent, access controls, audit logs, and protected health-information workflows are built into the product.
Last updated: July 10, 2026. This policy explains how NivaCare Family handles personal and health information across family-care workflows.
Consent, access controls, audit logs, and protected health-information workflows are built into the product.
Production deployments should use encrypted object storage such as AWS S3 with KMS or equivalent controls.
Family, parent, doctor, nurse, and admin roles see only the workflows they are allowed to access.
NivaCare Family may collect account details, family-care relationships, parent profiles, medications, symptoms, check-ins, appointments, uploaded documents, clinical notes, consent records, and billing/subscription status.
We use information to organise family health records, provide reminders, build care timelines, generate AI-assisted summaries, support care-circle permissions, process subscriptions, and help families prepare for appointments or doctor visits.
AI features are designed to summarise and organise information you provide. NivaCare is not a replacement for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
We do not ask families to send health documents over WhatsApp or upload them into general-purpose AI tools. Access is managed through NivaCare care-circle permissions and authenticated user roles.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, export, correct, restrict, or delete your personal data. NivaCare includes account export, consent management, and account deletion workflows.
